Post-Doc Affiliates and Affiliate Dependents
Post-doctoral affiliates (also known as post-doctoral fellows) are eligible to enroll as long as:
They have a current appointment.
Were recently awarded a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in an appropriate field.
Are not eligible for employer-sponsored health insurance. Additional enrollment rules apply
Dependent coverage is available for an additional fee.
Dependents are only eligible to enroll when the student/affiliate participates in both components of HUSHP (Student Health Fee and Student Health Insurance Plan).
Dependent enrollment and renewal are not automatic; students must enroll their dependents each term or academic year.
