The Harvard University Student Health Program is committed to supporting the health and wellness needs of our LGBTQ+ community. Below are the Student Health Fee benefits available to you:

Primary Care (Internal Medicine)
Services

Comprehensive primary and gender-affirming care
Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP)
Gender-affirming hormone therapy consults
Consultation for referral for gender-affirming surgery

Counseling and Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Individual Therapy: One-on-one counseling sessions can be scheduled with an LGBTQ+ competent therapist.
Group Support: Participate in our safe and supportive groups and workshops. Learn about CAMHS groups and workshops.
Peer Support: Contact Peer Counseling is a non-judgmental and confidential counseling service for Harvard undergraduates. Topics may include any issue, including LGBTQ+ identities, all genders, sexes, sexualities, and relationships.

Student Health Insurance Plan Benefits

The Harvard University Student Health Insurance Plan covers gender-affirming services for transgender and gender-diverse individuals when gender identity differs from assigned sex at birth. These services include, but are not limited to,

Hormone therapy
Top surgery (mastectomy)
Breast augmentation
Genital surgery
Sperm & oocyte cryopreservation

Office visit consultation	$35 copay per visit; no cost if coming to HUHS for the services	30% coinsurance after deductible has been met
